The authors study the Neumann problem of a 1D stationary Allen-Cahn equation with nonlocal term \[ \begin{aligned} & -du_{xx}=(1-u^2)(u-\frac \mu{2} \int^1_{-1}udx),\\ & u'(-1)=u'(1)=0, \\ & u'(x)\geq 0 \text{ for } x\in [-1,1],\end{aligned} \] where \(d\) is a positive parameter and \(\mu\) is a nonnegative parameter. They derive the global behavior of the branch of asymmetric solutions, and moreover, determine the set of all solutions to the nonlocal Allen-Cahn equation. Their proof is based on a level set analysis for an integral map associated with the nonlocal term.
