It is shown that an \(n\)-coloring of a combinatorial \((d-1)\)-sphere can be extended to an \(n\)-coloring of a combinatorial \(d\)-ball which bounds the given sphere. Furthermore, a coloring of a simplicial complex can be extended to one of a given subcomplex.
