The authors study the inverse scattering problem for a time-dependent Hartree equation and for the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. In both cases they consider a cubic convolution nonlinearity that contains a potential. They first discuss the construction of the scattering operator for small data. Then, they prove that the scattering operator uniquely determines the potential. For this purpose they consider the action of the scattering operator in a sequence of data that goes to zero, and in the limit they obtain an identity that allows them to obtain their uniqueness result.
