Let \(X\) be a Hausdorff space and \(f:X\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) be a function such that \(C(f)=\{x\in X: f\) is continuous at \(x\}\) is dense in \(X\). Then the closure of the set \(A=\{(x,f(x)):x\in C(f)\}\) in \(X\times \mathbb{R}\) is called a densely continuous form from \(X\) to \(\mathbb{R}\). Note that \(A\) is closed in \(C(f)\times\mathbb{R}\), but need not be closed in \(X\times\mathbb{R}\). The set of all densely continuous forms from \(X\) to \(\mathbb{R}\) is denoted by \(D(X)\). By identifying each function with its graph, we can consider the set \(C(X)\) of all real-valued continuous functions defined on \(X\) as a subset of \(D(X)\). The compact-open topology \(k\) on \(C(X)\) can be extended in a natural way to a topology on \(D(X)\), whose topological space is denoted by \(D_k(X)\). This natural extension has been defined and studied earlier in [\textit{S. T. Hammer} and \textit{R. A. McCoy}, Set-Valued Anal. 5, 247--266 (1997; Zbl 0892.54009)]. The densely continuous forms may be considered as multifunctions. If \(\Phi\in D(X)\) and \(A\subseteq X\), we say that \(\Phi\) is bounded on \(A\) provided that the set \(\Phi(A)=\cup\{\Phi(x):x\in A\}\) is bounded in \(\mathbb{R}\), where \(\Phi(x) =\{t\in\mathbb{R}:(x,t)\in \Phi\}\). Moreover, \(\Phi\) is called locally bounded provided that each point of \(X\) has a neighborhood on which \(\Phi\) is bounded and \(D^{*}(X)\) denotes the set of all members of \(D(X)\) which are locally bounded. Each member of \(D^{*}(X)\) is actually a minimal USCO map. The space \(D^{*}(X)\) equipped with the compact-open topology inherited from that on \(D(X)\) is denoted by \(D^{*}_k(X)\). The compact-open topology on \(D^{*}(X)\) can be nicely defined by using the Hausdorff metric \(H\) on the space of all nonempty compact subsets of \(\mathbb{R}\). Moreover, when \(X\) is locally compact, \(D^{*}_k(X)\) is a locally convex linear topological space. In the present paper, the authors study extensively the cardinal functions of \(D^{*}_k(X)\) such as character, pseudocharacter, density, weight, netweight and cellularity. Several examples are given to show how these properties can coincide or be different. Also some questions posed in [\textit{R. A. McCoy}, Topology Proc. 23, 249--275 (1998; Zbl 0968.54011)] are answered here. It is a great pleasure to read the paper which is excellent as well as well-written.
