Direction of arrival estimation using stochastic model order reduction via state space modeling (Q810478)

Consider an autonomous ARMA process with poles lying on the unit circle. The poles correspond to the arrival directions. The problem of directions of arrival estimation reduces to determine the eigenvalues of the state transition matrix. Numerical methods are discussed. These are based on the state space parametrization.
