    The purpose of the author is to employ her techniques [Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér., IV. Sér. 30, No. 6, 797--819 (1997; Zbl 0910.32028)] in order to shortly recover results by \textit{B. Q. Li} and \textit{B. A. Taylor} [Am. J. Math. 118, 989--1010 (1996; Zbl 0863.32002)], as corollaries. Her main theorem is as follows. Let \(F: {\mathbb C}^n \to { \mathbb C}^n\) be a holomorphic mapping and let \(f: {\mathbb C }^n \to {\mathbb R}\) be a positive function. Suppose that the function \(\widetilde{ f}(r):= \sup_{ | z | \leq r} \, f(z)\) is nondecreasing and that \[ \sup_{| z | \leq z} \, | F(z) | \, \leq \, A \, [\widetilde{ f}(r)]^B, \] for some two positive constants \(A\) and \(B\). Here, the chosen norm is \(| z | := (| z_1 |^2 + \cdots + | z_n |^2)^{1/ 2}\). Denote by \(N_F = \{a_j \}\) the set of zeros of \(F\) at which the Jacobian of \(F\) enjoys the control \[ | J_F(z) | \geq 1/ f(a_j). \] If \(r\) is large enough in order that \(\ln \widetilde{ f}(r)\geq 1\) and if \(r' >r\), then the number \(n(r,N_F)\) of elements \(a_j\) of \(N_F\) with \(| a_j | < r\) is bounded by \[ n(r, N_F) \leq C_n\, { {r'}^{2n}\over (r'-r)^{2n}} \, (r'-r)^{-n /\ln \widetilde{ f}(r')} \, [\ln \tilde{ f}(r')]^n. \] The restriction to zeros satisfying the assumption on the Jacobian comes from the fact that, according to \textit{M.~Cornalba} and \textit{B.~Shiffman } [Ann. Math. (2) 96, 402--406 (1972; Zbl 0244.32006)], as soon as \(n\geq 2\) and for every \(\alpha >1\), there is no bound of the form \[ n(r, F^{-1} (0)) \leq C [\ln M_F(\alpha r)]^n. \]
