The authors treat a non-negative self-adjoint operator \(L\) on \(L^2(\mathbb R^n)\) satisfying the following: There exists \(p_L\in[1,2)\) so that the semigroup \(\{e^{-tL}\}_{t>0}\) satisfies the ``reinforced \((p_L,p_L')\) off-diagonal estimate'', i.e., for all \(r,q\in(p_L,p_L')\) with \(r\leq q\) there exist two positive constants \(C,c\) such that \[ \|e^{-tL}f\|_{L^q(F)} \leq Ct^{-\frac n2 (\frac1r-\frac1q)}e^{-\frac{d(E,F)^2}{ct}}\|f\|_{L^r(E)} \] for every closed sets \(E,F\subset \mathbb R^n\), \(t>0\), and \(f\in L^r(E)\) with \(\text{supp}f\subset E\). (``The reinforced off-diagonal estimates'' is the so-called Davies-Gaffney estimates.) The Lusin area function \(S_Lf\) of \(f\in L^2(\mathbb R^n)\) is defined by \[ S_Lf(x)=\left(\int_{|x-y|<t}|t^2Le^{-t^2L}f(y)|^2t^{-n-1}\,dydt \right)^{1/2} \] and for \(w\in A_\infty(\mathbb R^n)\), \(0<p\leq1\) and \(p_L<q<p_L'\), the weighted Hardy space \(H_{L,w}^{p,q}(\mathbb R^n)\) is defined as the completion of \(\{f\in L^q(\mathbb R^n): S_Lf\in L_w^p(\mathbb R^n)\}\) in the norm \(\|f\|_{H_{L,w}^{p,q}(\mathbb R^n)}=\|S_Lf\|_{L_w^p(\mathbb R^n)}\). Characterizations of \(H_{L,w}^{p,q}(\mathbb R^n)\) in terms of atoms and molecules are given. As applications, the boundedness of singular integrals such as spectral multipliers, square functions and Riesz transforms on \(H_{L,w}^{p,q}(\mathbb R^n)\) are investigated. Their results for Schrödinger operators \(-\Delta +V\) with \(0\leq V\in L_{\text{loc}}^1(\mathbb R^n)\) extend the narrow range of the weights to the whole \(A_\infty(\mathbb R^n)\).
