Spectral expansion for nonself-adjoint differential operators with periodic matrix coefficients (Q2680753)

In this paper, the author constructs a spectral expansion for the closed nonself-adjoint differential operator \(L\) generated in the space \(L_2^m(-\infty,\infty)\) by the differential expression \[ l(y) = y^{(n)}(x) + P_2(x)y^{(n-2)}(x) + P_3(x)y^{(n-3)}(x) + \ldots + P_n(x)y, \] where \(n\) is an even positive integer and the \(P_\nu\), \(\nu = 2, 3, \dots , n\) are \(m\times m\)-matrices with complex-valued entries \((p_{\nu,i,j})\) satisfying the conditions \(p_{\nu,i,j}^{n-\nu}\in L_2[0,1]\), and \(p_{\nu,i,j}(x+1)=p_{\nu,i,j}(x)\) for \(i = 1, 2, \dots ,m\) and \(j = 1, 2, \dots ,m\). The paper deals with the essential spectral singularities, singular quasimomenta, and series with parenthesis.
