Let \(\Omega\) be a family of weights on \(\mathbb R^n\), i.e., a family of positive functions, \(\omega,\) that are measurable and locally integrable on \(\mathbb R^n\). For \(1 < p < \infty\), function spaces \(L_\Omega^p(\mathbb R^n)\) are defined by \[ \{f : \mathbb R^n \to \mathbb C\mid f \text{ measurable, and } | f|^p\omega \in L^1(\mathbb R^n), \omega \in \Omega\}. \] A suitable norm is defined that makes \(L_\Omega^p(\mathbb R^n)\) a complete locally convex space. By considering convolution products in such spaces, necessary and sufficient conditions on \(\Omega\) are obtained so that \(L_\Omega^p(\mathbb R^n)\) is a complete locally multiplicatively convex algebra.
