Let \(A\) be a one dimensional noetherian ring and let \(f\) be a filtration on \(A\). The author determines the prüferian closure \(P(f)\) of \(f\). His result shows that the problem reduces to the case that \(A\) is a Dedekind domain, where he is able to describe \(P(f)\) explicitly.
