A curve \(\gamma=\gamma(s)\) in a Riemannian manifold parametrized by its arc length \(s\) is called a Frenet curve of order \(d\) if there is an orthonormal frame field \(\{V_1 = \dot\gamma,V_2,\dots,V_d\}\) along \(\gamma\) and positive functions \(\kappa_1(s),\dots,\gamma_{d-1}(1)\) satisfying the equations \(\nabla_{\dot\gamma}V_j(s)=-\kappa_{j-1}(s)V_{j-1}(s)+\kappa_j(s)V_{j+1}(s)\), (\(j=i,\dots,d\)), where \(V_0=V_{d+1}=9\). This paper tries to find properties of an isometric immersion \(f\) of the Cayley projective plane \(P^2(c)\) into a real space form \(\widetilde M^{16+p}(\widetilde c)\), and presents the following Theorem: Suppose that some curvature function \(\kappa=\kappa(s)>0\) of \(\gamma\) satisfies the curvature condition \(K(\dot\gamma,V) = c\). Then the curve \(\gamma\) is a Cayley circle and \(f\) is locally congruent to a parallel immersion defined by \[ f_2\circ f_1:\text{Cay}\,P^2(c)@>f_1>>S^{25}\left(\tfrac{3c}4\right)@>f_2>> \widetilde M^{16+p}(\widetilde c), \] where \(f_1\) is the standard minimal immersion and \(f_2\) a totally umbilic immersion with \(\frac{3c}\Delta \geq\widetilde c\).
