Extremal problems for the approximation of periodical functions in uniform metrics are considered. For any metric compact \(Q\) the \(K\)- functional of a \((C(q), C^ \omega(Q))\) pair is calculated. Two-side estimates for \((C_{[-\pi,\pi]}, C^ 2_{[-\pi,\pi]})\) are determined. Some properties of continuity modules are discussed. Interpolation of the operators in the \(C^ \omega\)-space is calculated. Relations are derived for the \(Q\) compacts and the continuity modules, for the functions \(\omega\), \(f\), and the operator \(T\). The best linear approximations is discussed.
