The stability robustness determination of state space models with real unstructured perturbations (Q809041)

The authors obtain lower bounds for the distance (defined by the spectral norm) from a given stable marix to the set of all unstable matrices, assuming that only real perturbations are present. They show that the bounds can be computed using an iterative procedure ``with no excessive complexity''.
