It was conjectured by \textit{S. Bell} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 270, 685-691 (1982; Zbl 0482.32007)] if \(R_ 1\) and \(R_ 2\) are two Reinhardt domains in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) related by a proper holomorphic mapping, then there exists such a mapping which is polynomial. This note just proves the conjecture when one of these two Reinhardt domains is (or \(T_ a\)- equivalent to) the pseudoellipsoid: \[ \Sigma_ n(\alpha)\quad =\quad \{z\in {\mathbb{C}}^ n:\quad \sum^{n}_{i=1}| z_ i|^{2\alpha_ i}<1\},\quad \alpha_ i\in N. \]
