Two (Schauder) bases of a topological vector space \(E\) are called quasi-equivalent if they are equivalent after renumerating and multiplication by non-null scalars. This notion was introduced by \textit{M. M. Dragilev} who proved that in \(A(D)\), the space of holomorphic functions in the unit disc, the bases are quasi-equivalent [Usp. Mat. Nauk 15, No. 2, 181-188 (1960; Zbl 0096.27301)]. In a very important paper, \textit{B. S. Mityagin} [Usp. Mat. Nauk 16, No. 4, 63-132 (1961; Zbl 0104.08601)], has extended Dragilev's result to a class of nuclear Fréchet spaces and conjectured that it is true in any nuclear Fréchet space. Since this paper, a lot of work has been done on this subject. The aim of the author is to present a new approach to this conjecture, which is still open.
