Let \(\nu>-1\). The Bessel function of order \(\nu\) is given by \[ J_\nu(x)= \sum^\infty_{n=0}(-1)^n\frac{(x/2)^{\nu+2n}}{n! \Gamma(1+\nu+n)}. \] Let \(f\) be a function in \(L^2(0,\infty)\). Its Hankel transforms \(H_\nu f\) order \(\nu\) is given by \[ H\nu f(x)= \int^\infty_0f(t)J_\nu(xt)\sqrt{xt}\,dt \] for all \(x>0\), where the integral is interpreted as the limit of \(\int^A_0\) in the metric of \(L^2(0, \infty)\) when \(A\to\infty\). Main result: The Hankel transform of order zero of a function is a composition of Fourier transforms. The author does not know if it is true for the Hankel transforms of other orders.
