The paper deals with a metric measure space \((N^n,g,e^{-f}d\mu)\) and the following generalization of the tensor introduced in [\textit{D. Bakry} and \textit{M. Émery}, Proc., Lect. Notes Math. 1123, 177--206 (1985; Zbl 0561.60080)]: \(\text{Ric}^m_f=\text{Ric} +\text{Hess}(f)-\frac1{m-n}\nabla f\otimes\nabla f\;(m>n)\) and \(\text{Ric}^n_f=\text{Ric} +\text{Hess}(f)\), \(\text{Ric}^\infty_f=\text{Ric}\). The author proves rigidity theorems for a complete manifold \(N^n\) with \(\text{Ric}^m_f \geq(m-1)c>0\) by the existence of a nice \(f\)-minimal hypersurface. This may be regarded as a Myers-Cheng type theorem. He finds an upper bound for the distance function to a nice \(f\)-minimal hypersurface embedded in \(N\), considers the rigidity part when the upper bound is achieved, and also gives a first nonzero Dirichlet eigenvalue comparison for the \(f\)-Laplacian on manifold with \(m\)-Bakry-Émery Ricci curvature bounded from below.
