Assume that \(G\) is a stratified Lie group and \(Q\) is the homogeneous dimension of \(G\). Let \(-\Delta\) be the sub-Laplacian on \(G\) and \(W\not\equiv0\) a nonnegative potential belonging to certain reverse Hölder class \(B_s\) for \(s\geq Q/2\). Let \(L:=-\Delta+W\) be a Schrödinger operator on the stratified Lie group \(G\). The auxiliary function \(\rho(x)\) is defined by \[ \rho(x):=\sup_{r>0}\left\{r:\;\frac1{r^{Q-2}}\int_{B(x,r)}W(y)\,dy\leq1\right\}. \] Let \(f\) be a locally integrable function on \(G\) and \(B:=B(x,r)\) be a ball with its center \(x\in G\) and its radius \(r\in (0,\infty)\). Let \[ f_B:=\frac1{|B(x,r)|}\int_{B(x,r)}f(y)\,dy, \] \(f(B,W):=f_B\) if \(r<\rho(x)\) and \(f(B,W):=0\) if \(r\geq\rho(x)\). One says \(f\in BMO_L(G)\) if \[ \|f\|_{BMO_L(G)}:=\sup_B\frac1{|B|} \int_B|f(y)-f(B,W)|\,dy<\infty. \] In this paper, the authors prove that, if \(W\in B_s\) for some \(s\geq Q/2\), then the operators \(L^{-1}W\) and \(L^{-1}(-\Delta)\) are bounded on the space \(BMO_L(G)\). Moreover, under some additional assumptions, the authors also obtain the boundedness of \(L^{-1}\nabla^2\) on \(BMO_L(G)\).
