Jordan maps of nest algebras (Q1434404)

Let \(\mathcal A\) be a standard subalgebra of a nest algebra on a Hilbert and \(r\) be a fixed nonzero rational number. In this paper, the authors show that a bijective map \(\Phi\) from \(\mathcal A\) onto an algebra that satisfies \[ \Phi(r(AB+BA))= r(\Phi(A)\Phi(B)+ \Phi(B)\Phi(A))\quad \text{for all }A,B\in\mathcal A \] is additive.
