Summary: Let \(H\) be a real Hilbert space, let \(S,T\) be two nonexpansive mappings such that \(F(S)\cap F(T)\neq\emptyset\), let \(f\) be a contractive mapping, and let \(A\) be a strongly positive linear bounded operator on \(H\). In this paper, we suggest and consider the strong convergence analysis of a new two-step iterative algorithms for finding the approximate solution of two nonexpansive mappings as \(x_{n+1}=\beta_nx_n+(1-\beta_n)Sy_n\), \(y_n=\alpha_n\gamma f(x_n)+(I-\alpha_nA)Tx_n\), \(n\geq 0\), where \(\gamma>0\) is a real number and \(\{\alpha_n\}, \{\beta_n\}\) are two sequences in \((0,1)\) satisfying the following control conditions: (C1) \(\lim_{n\to\infty}\alpha_n=0\), (C3) \(0<\liminf_{n\to\infty}\beta_n\leq\limsup_{n\to\infty}\beta_n<1\), then \(\|x_{n+1}-x_n\|\to 0\). We also discuss several special cases of this iterative algorithm.
