This paper studies the long-term behaviour of stochastic retarded lattice dynamical systems of parabolic type with additive noise where the time delayed term enters in the nonlinearity. The nonlinearity is assumed to satisfy local Lipschitz conditions and the system is driven by an infinite-dimensional two-sided Brownian motion. After developing a technical theorem concerning a relative compactness criterion for the space \(C([-\nu,0]; \ell^2)\), which is the Banach space of all continuous functions from \([-\nu, 0]\) to the sequence space of square additive sequences \(\ell^2\) endowed with the supremum norm, the authors show that the stochastic retarded lattice differential equation is well posed in this function space and generates a continuous random dynamical system. Then the existence of a compact global random attractor within the set of tempered random bounded sets is proved, using an extension of the method of tail estimates.
