On asymptotics of complete Ricci-flat Kähler metrics on open manifolds (Q981661)

In [\textit{G. Tian} and \textit{S.-T. Yau}, J. Am. Math. Soc. 3, No.~3, 579--609 (1990; Zbl 0719.53041)], a complete Ricci-flat Käler metric on the complement of an ample and smooth anticanonical divisor \(D\) was constructed with a help of an initial metric \(\omega\). In the present paper, the decay rate of the difference of the two metrics near \(D\) is determined; it turns out to be as fast as possible. This is done by studying the decay of \(\|\partial\bar\partial u\|_\omega\) for the solution of the Monge-Ampère equation \((\omega+i\partial\bar\partial u)^n=e^{-f}\omega^n\) under an appropriate decay condition on \(f\).
