    According to the long time before established analytical theory of an artificial (and natural as well) satellite moving in a near equatorial orbit in the gravitational field of an oblate planet it has only small oscillations in the inclination of the orbit. The author points out a possibility to emerge a resonance between a satellite's orbiting frequency and certain frequencies in the planet axis' precession and as a result to cause a secular angular drift of the satellite orbit away from the planetary equator. Required mathematical formalism and the key aspects of the dynamics are described in the article.
