Projections of Veronese surface and morphisms from projective plane to Grassmannian (Q2358437)

The classification of maps from a projective space to a Grassmannian appeared in the classification of low rank uniform vector bundles on projective spaces [\textit{H. Tango}, J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 14, 415--460 (1974; Zbl 0332.14020)]. This paper consider maps \(\mathbb {P}^2\to \mathrm{Gr} (2,\mathbb {C}^4)\) corresponding to rank \(2\) vector bundles on \(\mathbb {P}^2\) spanned by a \(4\)-dimensional linear subpace of their sections. In this paper the authors classify them and the singularity of the images of the maps \(\mathbb {P}^2\to \mathrm{Gr} (2,\mathbb {C}^4)\) for the Chern classes \((2,2)\).
