    Let \(\Omega_n\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) and \(\Omega_m\subset \mathbb{R}^m\) be two bounded domains. In the paper the surjective linear isometries \[T:C^p(\overline{\Omega_n},V)\to C^q(\overline{\Omega_m},V),\] where \(V,W\) are Banach spaces with special properties, are characterized. Concretely, if \(V,W\) are both strictly convex or smooth, these isometries are all of the form \[T(f)(x)=I((f\circ \tau^{-1})(x)),\] where \(I:V\to W\) is an isometry and \(\tau: \overline{\Omega_m}\to \overline{\Omega_n}\) is a diffeomorphism (this is shown in Theorem 3.4 and Corollary 3.6 of the paper). In my opinion, the paper is well-written and deserves attention. The results are interesting and non-trivial.
