Let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be the Lie algebra of a connected semisimple algebraic group \(G\) over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic \(p\). If \(\rho \) is an irreducible representation of \(\mathfrak{g}\) it determines a \(p\)-character \(\chi \in \mathfrak{g}^{\ast }\) by \(\chi (x)^{p}\)Id\( =\rho \left( x\right) ^{p}-\rho \left( x^{\left[ p\right] }\right) , x\in \mathfrak{g}.\) In this paper a procedure is introduced which constructs unrestricted representations of \(\mathfrak{g}\) using global sections of line bundles on\ infinitesimal neighborhoods of certain subvarieties of \(\mathcal{ B}^{\chi },\) where \(\mathcal{B}\) is the flag variety. The construction is as follows. Given a \(p\)-character \(\chi \), the set \( \left\{ i\chi \mid 0\leq i\leq p-1\right\} \) consists of restricted representations of a central extension \(\mathfrak{g}_{\chi }\) of \(\mathfrak{g}\) by the multiplicative restricted Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}_{m}.\) The authors refer to this construction as a multiplicative version of the Hochschild \(\varphi \)-map. Now \(\mathfrak{g}_{\chi }\) defines a central extension \(1\rightarrow G_{m}^{1}\rightarrow G^{\chi }\rightarrow G^{1}\rightarrow 0,\) where \( G_{m}^{1}\) (resp. \(G^{1}\)) is the Frobenius kernel of \(G_{m}\) (resp. \(G\)). The group \(G^{\chi }\) acts on \(\mathcal{B},\) preserving the Frobenius neighborhood \(\hat{Z}\) of any subscheme \(Z.\) For a \(G\)-equivariant line bundle \(\mathcal{F}_{\lambda }\) on \(\mathcal{B}\) a \(G^{\chi }\)-action is constructed on \(\mathcal{F}_{\lambda }|_{\hat{Z}}\) with central charge 1 (i.e. it acts by \(1\), giving an action of \(\mathfrak{g}\) on the global sections of \(\mathcal{F}_{\lambda }|_{\hat{Z}}.\)
