Diffraction and Palm measure of point processes (Q1871538)

For a stationary, ergodic and square-integrable point process in the \(d\)-dimensional space, the existence of the autocorellation measure is proved that coincides with the intensity of the Palm measure. The diffraction measure defined as the Fourier transform of the autocorrelation measure is studied for particular random subsets of \(Z^d\). Finally, the properties of the autocorrelation and diffraction measures under linear projections of the original point process are considered.
