    A Finsler space is supplied with the connection \((N^ i_ j,F^ i_{jk},C^ i_{jk})\). Here such Finsler spaces are examined for which the tensor \(R^ 1\) given locally by \[ R^ i_{jk}=\delta N^ i_ j/\delta x^ k-\delta N^ i_ k/\delta x^ j \] vanishes. Among others the following is proved: if D is an h-involutive Finslerian distribution on M and if \(R^ 1(\bar X,\bar Y)=0\) for any \(\bar X,\bar Y\in D\), then D is h-integrable. The natural lifts of the geodesics of the Finsler space M are horizontal geodesics of \((a)\quad {\tilde \nabla}_{\tilde X}\tilde D=\beta \nabla_{\tilde X}T\tilde Y+\gamma \nabla_{\tilde X}G\tilde Y.\) If \(R^ i_{jk}=0\) and S is an integral manifold of N, then \((S,g^ H)\) is a Riemann space and (a) is exactly its Levi-Cività \(g^ H\) connection. If M is a reducible Finsler space with \(R^ i_{jk}=0\), then any geodesic of M whose natural lift lies in S and obeys initial conditions in a subbundle S', lies in the projection M' for small values of the parameter.
