The shape derivative of a Bernoulli-type functional is computed (see, in particular, formula (3.3) of the paper). This extends the work of [\textit{K. Ito, K. Kunisch} and \textit{G. H. Peichl}, ESAIM, Control Optim. Calc. Var. 14, No.~3, 517--539 (2008; Zbl 1357.49148)] by weakening the regularity assumptions.
