This article addresses a linear bond-based peridynamic nonlocal evolution problem with a nonlocal viscoelastic damping term. Using Galerkin methods, the authors prove the existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence upon datum of a weak solution. They establish regularity results in time and analyze the limit behavior as \(\delta \rightarrow 0,\) revealing a precise connection to the classical local evolution problem. Under stronger regularity conditions, the solution strongly converges to the classical local problem, particularly in the interior of domain \(\Omega.\) The majority of proofs rely on Galerkin methods, ensuring a solid foundation for the presented results. This work significantly contributes to understanding nonlocal evolution problems.
