The article targets open book decompositions of analytic manifolds with singular analytic binding. The notion is motivated by the Milnor fibration theorem valid even for certain germs when the central fibers have non-isolated singularities. The authors find classes of genuine real analytic mappings which yield such open book structures. For example, a non-constant mixed polynomial which is polar weighted-homogeneous (in the sense of \textit{M. Oka}, see the article in [Kodai Math. J. 31, No. 2, 163--182 (2008; Zbl 1149.14031)]) determines a codimension two open book with singular binding.
