\textit{T. Kato} [Math. Ann. 125, 208--212 (1952; Zbl 0048.35301)] proved that, if \(T\) is a bounded linear operator on a Hilbert space \(\mathcal{H}\), then \(|\langle Tx,y\rangle|^2\leq\left\langle (T^*T)^\alpha x,x\right\rangle\left\langle (TT^*)^{1-\alpha} y,y\right\rangle\) holds for all \(x,y\in\mathcal{H}\) and \(\alpha\in[0,1]\). This inequality provides a generalization of the so-called Cauchy--Schwarz inequality. Utilizing this inequality, \textit{S. S. Dragomir} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 48, No. 4, 937--955 (2012; Zbl 1263.47019)] obtained some inequalities of Kato's type for sequences of Hilbert space operators. In the present paper, following these results, the authors present similar inequalities for \(n\)-tuples of Hilbert space operators. They then use power series to get some inequalities of Kato's type for functions of normal operators. Finally, they prove some inequalities for the Euclidean norm and for the \(s\)-\(1\)-norm and \(s\)-\(1\)-numerical radius in the sense of [\textit{S. S. Dragomir}, Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 48, No.~4, 937--955 (2012; Zbl 1263.47019)].
