Infinite-dimensional algebras of the Virasoro, Kac-Moody, Floratos- Iliopoulos types have been of increasing relevance in several branches of physics in the last few years and are under intense investigation. Here, we introduce a new family of such algebras involving trigonometric functions in their structure constants. We produce its supersymmetrization, and a related new formulation of the SU(2) Kac-Moody algebra. We then explore some of its modular arithmetic features through an elegant unitary basis for SU(N) algebras.
