Test answers are at the end of the book. The first edition of the book comes from 1994. This edition consists of 12 chapters: 1. Introduction to logistic regression; 2. Important special cases of the logistic model; 3. Computing the odds ratio in logistic regression; 4. Maximum likelihood techniques; 5. Statistical inference using maximum likelihood techniques; 6. Modeling strategy guidelines; 7. Modeling strategy for assessing interaction and confounding; 8. Analysis of matched data using logistic regression; 9. Polytomous logistic regression; 10. Ordinal logistic regression; 11. Logistic regression for correlated data; 12. GEE examples; 13. Other approaches for analysis of correlated data. In comparison with the first edition chapters 9--13 are new and chapter 8 has been expanded. At the end of the book there are computer programs for logistic regression.
