Poisson structures on affine spaces and flag varieties. I: Matrix affine Poisson space. (Q850017)

In the paper under review the authors investigate the standard Poisson structure on the rectangular matrix variety \(M_{m,n}(\mathbb{C})\) via the orbits of symplectic leaves under the action of the maximal torus \(T\subset{Gl_{m+n}(\mathbb{C})}\). Three different presentations of the \(T\)-orbits of symplectic leaves in \(M_{m,n}(\mathbb{C})\) are obtained and they give enable the authors to obtain informations about the geometry of the picture.
