The vector variational inequality problem was first introduced and studied by \textit{F.\,Giannessi} [Proc.\ Int.\ School Math., Erice/Sicily 1978, 151--186 (1980; Zbl 0484.90081)] in finite-di\-men\-sio\-nal Euclidean spaces. \textit{X.\,P.\thinspace Ding} [J.~Math.\ Anal.\ Appl.\ 305, No.\,1, 29--42 (2005; Zbl 1120.91001)] introduced the concept of FC-space and proved a KKM type theorem for the set-valued mappings in FC-spaces. In the paper under review, the authors prove a new coincidence theorem and some new KKM type theorems for better admissible set-valued mappings in noncompact FC-spaces. Some new existence theorems for solutions of several classes of generalized vector equilibrium problems are established in noncompact FC-spaces.
