A three-field domain decomposition method with non-overlapping subdomains is used for the numerical solution of elliptic partial differential equations. In each subdomain a meshless method and radial basis functions yield the approximation spaces. In this way the condition number of the resulting system matrix depends mainly on the maximal number of nodes in the subdomains and not on the number for the whole domain. Numerical results for examples with condition numbers of the order \(10^{14}\) are reported.
