    Let \((\xi_ k:k=1,2,...)\) be an orthogonal sequence in a space L 2(X,\({\mathcal A},\mu)\) with a finite measure \(\mu\) and let \(\int \xi^ 2_ kd\mu =a^ 2_ k\) (k\(\geq 1)\). The author proves a number of theorems on a.e. (C,\(\alpha)\) summability of the sequence \((\xi_ k)\). We state one theorem. For every \(\alpha\), \(0<\alpha <1\), the condition \(\sum^{\infty}_{k=1}a\) \(2_ k/k^{2\alpha}<\infty\) implies the a.e. (C,\(\alpha)\) summability of the sequence \((\xi_ k)\) to zero.
