Tensor Banach algebras of projective type. I (Q1204960)

The author considers Banach and normed spaces over a complete valuation- field. In the first part he studies projective tensor products of such spaces, considers an \(\ell_ 1\)-sum of \(n\)th tensor powers of a given space \(E\) and makes of it a Banach algebra under a certain natural multiplication. In this way he constructs a covariant functor from some category of Banach spaces to some category of Banach algebras (the tensor-Banach functor). This functor is studied in the second part of the paper.
