Einfache algebraische Identitäten werden benutzt, um die Weierstrass'sche Thetaformel für Producte aus je vier Thetafunctionen (Berl. Ber. 1882. 505; Schwarz-Weierstrass, Formeln etc. art. 38; Enneper, Gött. Nachr. 1883. 177), das Jacobi'sche Fundamentaltheorem (Ges. Werke I. 507) und , bei specieller Annahme für die Variabeln, die Cayley'sche Gleichung (Darboux Bull. I. 215) herzuleiten. Ferner ergiebt sich eine allgemeine Relation zwischen Producten von sechs Thetafunctionen.
