The author studies the \(C^{\ast}\)-algebra of Toeplitz operators on the unit circle \(D\) generated by functions on \(D\) having discontinuities of some special type. It is proved that the corresponding Calkin algebra is commutative. The values of symbol are defined on the generators of the algebra under consideration.
