    The authors consider the impulsive boundary value problem for a system of singular differential equations \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} &-u'' = h_1(t)f_1(t,u,v), &\quad &t \in (0,1), t \neq t_k,\\ &-v'' = h_2(t)f_2(t,u,v), &\quad &t \in (0,1), t \neq t_k,\\ &-\triangle u'|_{t=t_k} = I_{1,k}(u(t_k)), &\quad &k = 1,\dots,m,\\ &-\triangle v'|_{t=t_k} = I_{2,k}(v(t_k)), &\quad& k = 1,\dots,m,\\ &\alpha u(0) - \beta u'(0) = 0, &\quad &\alpha v(0) - \beta v'(0) = 0,\\ &\gamma u(1) + \delta u'(1) = 0, &\quad &\gamma v(1) + \delta v'(1) = 0, \end{alignedat} \] where \(0 < t_1 < \ldots < t_m < 1\), \(f_i\), \(h_i\), \(I_{i,j}\) (\(i=1,2\), \(j = 1,2\)) are continuous functions. Sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one or at least two positive solutions to this problem are obtained. The proofs are based on fixed point index theory in a cone.
