The authors completely classify admitted Lie point symmetries of a class of \(1+1\)-dimensional nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations with delay: \[ u_t(t,x) = u_xx(t,x) + g(u(t,x), u(t-t*,x)),\quad t*=const, \] and consider invariant solutions that arise. The presented method of analysis is general and applicable to all PDEs with delays in one or more independent variables.
