A Hermitian manifold \((M,J,g)\) is a locally conformal Kähler manifold (l.c.K.m.) if there exists a closed 1-form (Lee form) satisfying \(d \Omega=\omega \wedge\Omega\); where \(\Omega\) is the fundamental 2-form associated with \(g\). An l.c.K.m. \((M,J,g)\) is called a Vaisman manifold (V.m.) if the associated Lee form is non-exact and parallel with respect to Lévi-Civita connection. On every V.m. there exists a complex analytic foliation (canonical foliaction). The concepts of l.c.K.m. and a V.m. are fundamental for this paper. For the stability of foliations with complex leaves, it is important to study the Jacobi operator an a connection \(\nabla\) on normal bundle of a foliation \({\mathcal F}\). The purpose of this note is to prove a stability theorem for harmonic foliations on a compact l.c.K.m. Theorem: ``Let \((M,J,g)\) be an \(n\)-dimensional compact l.c.K.m. If \({\mathcal F}\) is an harmonic foliation on \(M\) with bundle-like metric \(g\) foliated by complex submanifolds, then \({\mathcal F}\) is stable''. The following corollary is important: ``The canonical foliations on compact V.M. are stable''. The key of the proof is the compatibility of the complex structure with the connection \(\nabla\) on the normal bundle \(Q\).
