The authors provide valuable generalizing sampling theorems for several cases of homogeneous spaces. Sampling theorems are important and quite popular tools used by many researchers in information theory. Like some earlier works by others, in this paper the well known Shannon sampling theorem is used as a basic point for further investigations. A signal function whose band-region is contained in a certain interval can be reconstructed by samples taken at the equidistant sampling points. Using this and some other previous results, the authors take suitable sampling points and construct sampling functions for the Fourier-Jacobi series, the complex sphere \(S^{n-1}_c\), and the complex semisimple Lie groups. They also provide a direct application of their results: a version of the sampling formula for the Radon transform on the complex hyperbolic space.
