The authors derive a posteriori error estimator for nonconforming finite element approximations of the Stokes eigenvalue problem. The main tools in their analysis are the Helmholtz decomposition, the local interpolation and the approximation properties of the finite element space. Some numerical results to validate the theoretical analysis are also presented.
