States on orthomodular amalgamations over trees (Q2506067)

The paper defines an amalgamation of bounded involution posets over a strictly directed graph. If the underlying structures are orthomodular lattices, orthomodular posets or orthoalgebras, then the amalgamation is an involution poset of the same type as the amalgamated poset. The authors study general conditions when this hereditary property remains. Special attention is dedicated to the case when the graph is a tree, because then a state can be extended from a subalgebra to the whole algebra.
