The author considers a model of phenotype evolution incorporating mutation and recombination which consists of an ordinary differential equation for the population density with respect to a continuous variable representing phenotype diversity. When mutation is modeled by diffusion, the asymptotic behavior of the model was studied by \textit{P. Magal} and \textit{G. F. Webb} [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 6, No. 1, 221-236 (2000; Zbl 1007.92027)]. In the present case, the author proves that each solution to the model converges for the weak\(^*\) topology to a Radon measure.
