The author investigates and discusses boundedness and limiting conditions of boundedness for solutions of one dimension motion of a particle subjected to superquadratic potentials. A new averaging technique is developed for this investigation, and a few new results and insights are obtained. The paper is carefully written and should be of interest and use to those working in stability theory.
