This book contains not only classical results of mathematical analysis (regarding sets, sequences, series, limits, continuity, differentiability and integrability of one or several variables), but also relevant results on constants (mainly \(\pi \)), algorithms and combinatorial problems. The presentation is based on modern tools including vector spaces, metric spaces, experimental mathematics, or scientific computing. The content is also ``concrete'', the topics covered by the book are illustrated by relevant results and examples. Many challenging exercises, selected from different mathematical competitions, accompany the text.
